Bringing the UK energy sectorto the international stageEnterprising Energy is the latest publication to come from Scotland’s leading independent publisher, Capital Group UK
Launched a decade ago, Enterprising Scotland magazine is now regarded as Scotland’s leading industry and enterprise magazine. It focuses on the best of industry operating in Scotland and promotes it to an influential Scottish/UK and international business audience. Since 1999, Enterprising Scotland has worked closely with the Scottish and UK Governments and a wide range of private sector industry bodies on an ongoing basis to examine business and economic developments in Scotland. The publication looks at the key sectors of industry, including the export market and inward investment, key developments in technology and changing business models. The energy sector has featured strongly in the magazine over the years and because of this Capital Group UK decided as part of its natural business evolution to launch a sister publication entitled Enterprising Energy in May 2009. Editorially, the magazine examines the tremendous importance of energy to the economy of the UK and showcases some of the key players in the marketplace. It also highlights the importance of the supply chain to the industry and profiles a number of the leading companies. To date, there has been an impressive array of comment from across the energy spectrum and contributors have included former Minister for Energy Mike O'Brien, Oil & Gas UK, Subsea UK, OPITO, Offshore Contractors' Association, Renewable Energy Association, Scottish Renewables, Energy Technologies Institute and many more. Capital Group UK has had a long and fruitful relationship with various energy shows around the world, including the biennial Offshore Europe Exhibition in Aberdeen. Enterprising Scotland has covered the show since 2001 and distributed a special edition to all the exhibitors and visitors to the conference on a complimentary basis. Enterprising Energy magazine will continue to have a presence at the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston USA as well as the All Energy conference in Aberdeen and is available to the exhibitors and visitors to the exhibitions. |
